Group Console Guide
This page provides a complete guide to the Group entity in the Namirasoft Password Console. It explains what Groups are, why they matter, and how each field associated with a Group should be understood when organizing password entries.
What Is a Group in Namirasoft Password?
A Group is an organizational container used to categorize password entries inside your vault. Groups help you structure your saved credentials in a way that matches how you think about your accounts, such as by project, environment, purpose, or personal preference.
Overview of AWS Watch Fields and Options
Below is a detailed explanation of each field associated with a Group. These definitions are referenced throughout the console to help you understand how Group data is displayed and managed.
-
ID (string): This is a unique identifier automatically assigned to each Group when it is created. You do not set or edit this value manually.
-
Name (String): This is the display name of the Group as shown throughout the console. The Name is what you and other authorized users rely on to recognize and select a Group when creating or viewing password entries.
-
Description (String): The Description provides additional context about the Group’s purpose. This field is optional but highly recommended when Groups are shared across teams or used for long-term organization.
-
Created At (DateTime): This shows the date and time when the Group was first created. It is automatically set by the system and does not change.
-
Updated At (DateTime): This indicates the most recent date and time the Group was modified. It updates whenever changes are made, such as renaming the Group or editing its Description.
