Condition Console Guide
This page provides a guide to the Condition entity in the Namirasoft Inference Console. It defines the concepts and configuration fields used when creating and managing Conditions. Use this guide to understand the purpose and behavior of each setting available during Condition configuration.
What Is a Condition?
A Condition is a single piece of logic that checks a request and answers true or false. Router routes, Guard Rail rules, and Condition Group lines use that answer to decide how the request is handled. A Condition can check the text of a request, its length, its tags, and even the classes a Classifier assigns.
The Challenge a Condition Solves
Execution decisions need checks, and without a reusable way to express them, every check becomes custom code.
Common challenges include:
- Logic locked in code: A rule as small as “contains billing words” lives inside application code. Changing it means a change request and a deployment.
- The same rule, rewritten: Routing, screening, and grouping each need their own copy of the same check. The copies drift apart until they disagree.
- Rules nobody can read: Ad hoc checks scattered across code have no shared shape. Understanding what actually gates a request means reading the source.
How Namirasoft Inference Solves the Problem
You define one or more checks, and the Operator decides how they combine, AND requires every check to pass, OR requires any one of them. The Not option inverts the final result, so the Condition matches when its checks are false. Leave any check empty and it is simply not evaluated.
For example, a Condition named “Is Coding Question” can match when the text contains words such as “code”, “function”, or “debug”. A Router route can then send those requests to the inferencer you prepared for code.
Overview of Condition Fields and Options
Below is a detailed explanation of the fields available when creating or managing a Condition. Understanding these fields helps ensure your Condition is configured correctly for your requirements.
- ID (String): This is a unique identifier automatically assigned to the Condition when it is created. The system uses it to track, reference, and manage this specific Condition. This value is auto-generated and cannot be modified.
- User ID (Namirasoft Account’s ID): This is the unique identifier of the Namirasoft Account user who owns this Condition. It is used internally for permission control, audit logging, and access management.
- Workspace ID (Namirasoft Workspace’s ID): This is the identifier of the workspace this Condition belongs to, as defined in Namirasoft Workspace. A workspace is a shared organizational space where teams group their work, projects, and members.
- Name (String): This is a label used to identify this Condition in the console. A good name states what it checks. For example: “Contains Code Keywords” or “Long Prompts”.
- Not (Boolean): This is the option that inverts the result. When it is on, the Condition matches when its checks come out false. Use it to express “everything except” logic without writing a second condition.
- Operator (Enum): This decides how your checks combine. AND requires every filled check to pass. OR requires at least one of them to pass.
- If Contains Words (List of Strings): The Condition passes this check when the request text contains the words you list here. For example: enter “bug, error, exception” to catch debugging questions.
- If Length Greater Than (Integer): The Condition passes this check when the request text is longer than this number of characters. Use it to send long prompts to a stronger model.
- If Length Less Than (Integer): The Condition passes this check when the request text is shorter than this number of characters.
- If Classifier (Classifier’s ID and Classes): This check calls the Classifier you select and passes when the request is assigned one of the classes you list. It lets a Condition react to the meaning of a request rather than its exact words.
- Log Group (Log Group’s ID): This determines where the Condition’s execution logs are recorded. When a Log Group, defined in Namirasoft Log, is connected, request activity and errors are recorded there for debugging and review.
- Description (String): This is optional explanatory text about this Condition. Use it to describe the rule in plain words for teammates.
- Created At (DateTime): This is the date and time when this Condition was created. This value is automatically generated and cannot be modified.
- Updated At (DateTime): This is the date and time when this Condition configuration was last modified. This value is updated automatically whenever any field is changed.
