Condition Group Console Guide

This page provides a guide to the Condition Group entity in the Namirasoft Inference Console. It defines the concepts and configuration fields used when creating and managing Condition Groups. Use this guide to understand the purpose and behavior of each setting available during Condition Group configuration.

What Is a Condition Group?

A Condition Group combines several Conditions, and even other condition groups, into one decision. It lets you build complex business rules out of small, reusable pieces, and groups can nest inside groups without limit.

The Challenge a Condition Group Solves

Real business rules rarely fit a single check. They combine several, and combining them in code brings back every problem Conditions solve.

Common challenges include:

  • Complex rules, flat tools: AND and OR combinations of several checks turn into long expressions that are hard to read. Reusing them somewhere else means copying them.
  • Duplication across flows: The same combined rule gets rebuilt for each Router or Guard Rail that needs it. One improvement never reaches the other copies.
  • No room to nest: Without groups inside groups, layered decisions collapse into one flat expression. The structure of the rule disappears from view.

How Namirasoft Inference Solves the Problem

You add lines to the group, and each line evaluates a Condition or another Condition Group and compares its result. The Operator then combines all lines into the group’s final answer, and the Not option can invert it. Anywhere a Condition can be used, in a Router route or a Guard Rail rule, a Condition Group can be used instead.

For example, a group named “Billing Support” can match requests that contain billing words AND carry the “support” tag, so your Router sends them straight to the inferencer you prepared for billing.

Overview of Condition Group Fields and Options

Below is a detailed explanation of the fields available when creating or managing a Condition Group. Understanding these fields helps ensure your Condition Group is configured correctly for your requirements.

  • ID (String): This is a unique identifier automatically assigned to the Condition Group when it is created. The system uses it to track, reference, and manage this specific Condition Group. This value is auto-generated and cannot be modified.
  • User ID (Namirasoft Account’s ID): This is the unique identifier of the Namirasoft Account user who owns this Condition Group. It is used internally for permission control, audit logging, and access management.
  • Workspace ID (Namirasoft Workspace’s ID): This is the identifier of the workspace this Condition Group belongs to, as defined in Namirasoft Workspace. A workspace is a shared organizational space where teams group their work, projects, and members.
  • Name (String): This is a label used to identify this Condition Group in the console. A good name states the decision it makes. For example: “Complex Coding Requests”.
  • Not (Boolean): This is the option that inverts the group result. When it is on, the group matches when its combined lines come out false.
  • Operator (Enum): This decides how the group’s lines combine. AND requires every line to pass. OR requires at least one line to pass.
  • Lines (List): These are the members of the group. Each line evaluates a CCG (a Condition or another Condition Group) and compares it using the Second Operand Type: TRUE or FALSE compares the result against a fixed value, while EQUAL CCG and NOT EQUAL CCG run a second Condition or Condition Group and compare the two results with each other.
  • Log Group (Log Group’s ID): This determines where the Condition Group’s execution logs are recorded. When a Log Group, defined in Namirasoft Log, is connected, request activity and errors are recorded there for debugging and review.
  • Description (String): This is optional explanatory text about this Condition Group. Use it to describe the combined rule in plain words.
  • Created At (DateTime): This is the date and time when this Condition Group was created. This value is automatically generated and cannot be modified.
  • Updated At (DateTime): This is the date and time when this Condition Group configuration was last modified. This value is updated automatically whenever any field is changed.
