Send Messages and Alerts with Namirasoft Teams Sender
Follow this step-by-step guide to connect Microsoft Teams, configure your provider, and start sending messages manually or automatically through your workflows.
Step 1: Create a Namirasoft Account
Sign up for a Namirasoft Account to access the Teams Sender console and all Namirasoft products.
- Go to Namirasoft Account
- Create your account and sign in

Step 2: Create a Provider
Open the Namirasoft Teams Sender console and create a provider.
- Go to the Namirasoft Teams Sender console
- Click Create under Provider
- Enter a Name and optional Description
- Select a TypeTypeThe delivery method for your provider. Channel is currently the only option, which delivers messages through a Teams app added to a channel.
Step 3: Create Your Azure Credential in Namirasoft Credential
Namirasoft Teams Sender connects to Microsoft Teams through an Azure credential you create in Namirasoft Credential.
- Click the + icon to open Namirasoft Credential in a new tab
- Enter your Azure credential in the new tab. How to Get Your Azure Credential Details
- Return to the Namirasoft Teams Sender tab
- Click the refresh icon and select your new Azure Credential
Step 4: Add Your Credentials and Teams Destination
Enter the credentials and destination for your provider, then apply.

Step 5: Connect Azure App to Teams Channel
Before sending, add your Azure app to the Microsoft Teams channel where messages will be delivered.
- Open the Microsoft Teams channel where you want to send messages

Step 6: Verify Your Provider
Verify your provider to confirm everything is set up correctly.
- Namirasoft Teams Sender sends a verification code to your chosen Teams channel
- Find the code in that channel
- Enter the code in the console to confirm the provider
Step 7: Send Messages Manually
Send a message to your Teams channel directly from the console.
- Go to the Send section in the console
- Enter your message and select a provider
- Click Apply to deliver it to your Teams channel
Step 8: Connect with Namirasoft Notification Sender
Automate delivery by forwarding alerts from Namirasoft Notification Sender to your Teams channels.
- Set up a subscriber in Namirasoft Notification Sender
- Choose Teams as the sender type

1. Can I use an existing Microsoft Teams channel for notifications?
Yes. Namirasoft Teams Sender delivers messages to Teams and channels you already have access to. You provide the Teams ID and Channel ID of an existing channel, and Teams Sender does not create new Teams or channels.
2. What information do I need to create a provider?
You must provide your Azure Credential, Azure Credential Token, Microsoft Teams ID, and the Channel ID. Name and description are optional and mainly for internal reference.
3. How do I verify my provider?
After creating a provider, a verification code will be sent to your specified Teams channel. Enter this code in the Teams Sender Console to complete verification.
4. Can I send messages manually?
Yes, you can compose and send messages directly through the Teams Sender Console to your selected Teams channel at any time.
5. How can I send automated alerts to Microsoft Teams?
Connect Namirasoft Teams Sender with Namirasoft Notification Sender. Once integrated, system alerts and notifications are forwarded automatically to your Teams channels based on the conditions you define there.
6. Is Namirasoft Teams Sender free to use?
Yes, Teams Sender is available free of charge, including both manual messaging and automated alerts when integrated with Namirasoft Notification Sender.
