Namirasoft Password Extension Guide
Secure Password Access While You Browse
This guide explains how the Namirasoft Password browser extension works and how to use it step by step.
You will learn how to log in, unlock your vault, manage saved passwords, generate secure passwords using templates, and securely store new credentials while browsing.
Step 1: Download the Browser Extension
Download the Namirasoft Password browser extension from the official browser store. The extension works alongside the Namirasoft Password Console and connects securely to your vault.
Step 2: Log In to Your Namirasoft Account
Click the extension icon in your browser and select Log in.
A secure window opens where you log in using your Namirasoft Account credentials. This connects the extension to your Namirasoft Password vault.
Step 3: Unlock Your Vault
After logging in, the extension displays an Unlock Vault option.
Enter your Master Password to unlock access to your saved passwords and templates.
If no Master Password has been created yet, you are guided through creating one before continuing.
Step 4: Use Show Password While Signing In
When you visit the login page of a website, the Show Password popup automatically becomes available.
This popup allows you to:
-
View saved password entries associated with the website
-
Choose which saved password to use if multiple entries exist
-
Add a new password entry while browsing if no entry exists
The popup is draggable, giving you full control without interrupting your workflow.
Step 5: Add Password While Browsing
The Add Password popup lets you securely save credentials directly from the website you are using.
This popup allows you to:
-
Enter required details for the website
-
Save the password to your vault
-
Make the password available for future logins automatically
Saved entries immediately sync with the console.
Step 6: Generate Password Using Templates
When setting a new password on a website, the Generate Password popup becomes available.
This popup allows you to:
-
Generate a secure password using previously created templates
-
Apply consistent password rules across websites
-
Use strong, randomized passwords without manual input
Generated passwords can be saved immediately after registration.
Step 7: Access Console from the Extension
The extension menu provides quick access to:
-
Group List
-
Entry List
-
Template List
Selecting any of these options opens the Namirasoft Password Console, where full management and configuration are available.
Step 8: Lock the Vault
The Lock Vault option disables all extension features instantly. When locked, access is blocked until the Master Password is entered again, adding an extra layer of protection.
