This page provides a complete guide to the Maintenance Plan section of the Namirasoft ERP Console. A maintenance plan schedules a recurring service for a vehicle, based on distance and time. This guide explains each field on the Maintenance Plan form.

What Is a Maintenance Plan?

A maintenance plan is a recurring schedule that tells you when a particular service is next due for a vehicle. It repeats on a distance interval, a time interval, or both, so routine upkeep is never missed.

 

Why Maintenance Plans Matter

Preventive maintenance keeps vehicles safe and reliable and avoids the higher cost of a breakdown. A plan turns manufacturer intervals into clear reminders, so work is done on time rather than remembered too late.

 

How Namirasoft ERP Handles Maintenance Plans

You set the vehicle, the service type, a start point, and how often the service repeats by distance and by time. Namirasoft ERP then tracks each vehicle’s odometer readings and the calendar to work out how much is left before the service is due and to flag it when it is close or overdue.

 

Overview of Maintenance Plan Fields and Options

The sections below explain each field on the Maintenance Plan form.

• ID (String): This is the unique identifier automatically assigned to the plan by Namirasoft ERP when it is created. You do not enter this value; it is used internally to reference the plan.

• User ID (Namirasoft Account’s ID): This is the unique ID of the Namirasoft Account that created the plan. It links the record to the user who owns it for access control and history.

• Company (String): This is the company the plan belongs to.

• Branch (String): This is the branch, a location or division within the company, that the plan is recorded under.

• Vehicle (String): This is the vehicle the plan applies to, chosen from your fleet.

• Service Type (String): This is the service the plan schedules, such as Oil Change, chosen from your service types.

• Topic (String): This is an optional reference that links the plan to a related topic, which can be used to group or follow up on the scheduled work.

• Starts At (DateTime): This is the point the schedule counts from. The first due date and distance are measured from here.

• Every Distance (Number): This is how far the vehicle travels between services, entered as a number in the unit chosen below, such as 10000.

• Distance Unit (Enum): This is the unit for the distance interval. Choose KM for kilometers or Mile for miles.

• Every Time (Number): This is how much time passes between services, entered as a number in the unit chosen below, such as 6.

• Time Unit (Enum): This is the unit for the time interval. Choose Day, Week, or Month.

• Status (Enum): This shows how close the service is to being due, and is calculated for you from readings and the calendar. It reads Ok when the service is not due soon, Warning when it is approaching, and Overdue when it has passed. Along with it, the plan shows the remaining days and distance until the next service.

• Description (String): This is an optional note where you can add details about the plan.

• Created At (DateTime): This shows the exact date and time the plan was created. It is set automatically and does not change.

• Updated At (DateTime): This shows the last time the plan was edited. It helps you track when the record was last maintained.
