How Bill Watch Works

Namirasoft Bill Watch helps you stay ahead of unexpected costs with intelligent monitoring. Here’s how it works, from connection to control, so you can focus on running your business, not chasing billing surprises.




Step 1: Sign Up


Create your Namirasoft Account to get started. This account gives you access to all Namirasoft apps including Bill Watch.




Step 2: Start Creating a Watch


Open Namirasoft Bill Watch and choose the cloud platform you want to monitor: AWS, GCP, or Azure. This page will guide you through completing the required fields to create a watch, so please read through to the end.




Step 3: Add Cloud Access Credentials


Click the plus icon to add access credentials for your selected cloud platform. You will be directed to Namirasoft Credential app form where you can securely connect your cloud account. If created during this step, the credential becomes instantly available within the Watch setup.




Step 4: Create a Notification Sender Topic


Use the plus icon next to the Topic field. This opens the Namirasoft Notification Sender App, where you can create a new Topic. This topic will be used to send anomaly alerts related to your billing activity to your preferred channel.




Step 5: Create a Log Group


Click the plus icon to create a Log Group on Namirasoft Log. This allows the system to record daily activity and support anomaly detection. Creating it during setup makes it immediately selectable in your Watch configuration.




Step 6: Set Up Detection Rules


Click the plus icon in the Rules section to open the rule configuration page. You can define the exact conditions for what should trigger an alert, selecting from available anomaly formulas or customizing your own logic. These rules are applied during daily checks.





Step 7: Apply the Watch and Activate Monitoring


Once all components are added and selected, you can apply the Watch. This enables daily monitoring that checks your billing data against your rules.




Step 8: Choose How Alerts Are Delivered


Go to the Subscriber section in the Notification Sender app to add a new subscriber. Select your preferred alert channel such as Email, SMS, Telegram, Slack, or Microsoft Teams, and click the plus icon beside that channel.

 

This opens the corresponding sender app, where you can quickly configure the channel with your account details. Once configured, return to the Subscriber section and link the channel to the Topic you created earlier.




Step 9: Rest Easy


Once everything is configured, Bill Watch takes over. Bill Watch evaluates your billing data once a day based on your selected rules. If unusual behavior or costs are detected, the system logs the activity and sends an alert. You stay protected from billing surprises, which lets you stay focused on growth, not troubleshooting expenses.

2. What happens after I sign up?

After signing up on Namirasoft Account, you’ll be guided through the setup process. We’ll help you connect your cloud platform and configure your first Watch in the Namirasoft Bill Watch Console. Our interface makes it easy to start monitoring costs and receive alerts.

3. How does Namirasoft Bill Watch know when to send an alert?

Namirasoft Bill Watch checks your usage on a daily basis against the rules you've defined. If something exceeds your set thresholds or behaves abnormally, an alert is triggered.

4. How will I receive alerts?

Namirasoft Bill Watch uses Namirasoft Notification Sender app to deliver alerts. When a watch is triggered, the alert is sent through a Topic to your configured Subscriber, which forwards it to your chosen platform. Currently supported senders include the following Namirasoft products: SMS Sender, Email Sender, Telegram Sender, Slack Sender and Teams Sender, with more being added based on user needs.

5. Do I need to monitor things manually once it's set up?

Nope. Namirasoft Bill Watch automatically monitors your usage in the background and only alerts you when necessary. You stay in control without needing to constantly check in.
