Step 2: Enter Recipient Email
This is where you begin the delegation process. Navigate to the Outgoing Permissions section and enter the email address of the person you want to authorize.
Step 3: Choose a Policy
After entering the recipient’s email, select a Policy that defines the rules and scope of the access you are granting. You can choose from predefined Policies ready to use, or create a custom Policy tailored to your specific needs.
Step 4: Assign a Role
Next, assign a Role to the user. Roles group policies into manageable sets, making it easier to control access consistently. You can select a predefined Role or create a custom Role that matches your workflow. The Role ensures the user’s permissions are applied correctly and efficiently.
Step 5: Apply and Grant Permission
After entering the recipient’s email, selecting Policies, and assigning a Role, click Apply to grant the permission. The recipient is notified by email and can view the granted access under Incoming Permissions, along with the assigned policy and role.
Start managing access securely and efficiently.
How It Works FAQs
Answers to common questions about how to get started and use Namirasoft Access.
1. Do I need a Namirasoft account to grant or receive access?
Yes. Both the person granting access and the recipient must have a Namirasoft account. This ensures all permissions are securely linked and managed through the platform.
2. Can I grant access without sharing my credentials?
Absolutely. Namirasoft Access allows you to delegate permissions safely without exposing your login information or password.
3. What is the difference between a Policy and a Role?
A Policy defines access rules, while a Role groups policies into manageable sets. Roles make it easier to assign consistent Permissions to multiple users efficiently.
4. Can I use predefined Policies and Roles, or do I need to create my own?
Both options are available. Namirasoft Access provides predefined Policies and Roles to get started quickly, but you can also create custom Policies and Roles tailored to your workflow and organizational needs.
5. Will the recipient know they have been granted access?
Yes. The recipient receives an email notification when access is granted and can view the permissions in their Incoming Permissions.
6. How can I manage access after granting it?
You maintain full control over all permissions and can modify, adjust, or revoke access at any time to ensure security and proper collaboration.
