How It Works FAQs

Common questions about setting up and using schedules in Namirasoft Scheduler.

1. How long does it take to set up a schedule?

Just a few minutes. Create a Namirasoft Account, open the Console, set a window and frequency, and click Apply.

2. Do I need to install anything?

No. Namirasoft Scheduler runs in your browser through the Namirasoft Scheduler Console. You can also use the REST API or CLI if you prefer.

3. Which frequencies can I use?

Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and full Cron frequencies are available, along with optional repeat bursts and a random delay.

4. When does my schedule run?

Your schedule runs from the start date time you set and follows the frequency and time window you choose. If you add a random delay, the exact run time falls within the range you set.

5. Does Scheduler run my tasks itself?

No. Scheduler decides when your tasks run and tracks each run for you. Your Namirasoft apps carry out the actual work.

6. Can I change or delete a schedule after creating it?

Yes. You can edit or delete any schedule at any time in the Console.

7. What happens when a schedule finishes?

Scheduler marks it finished and stops computing new runs, while keeping its run history such as last run and total runs.

8. Does Scheduler store credentials or connect to external systems?

No. Scheduler stores no credentials and connects to nothing external. It needs only your Namirasoft Account and a Namirasoft Workspace.

9. Is there a limit to how many schedules I can create?

No. You can create as many schedules as you need at no cost.
