In addition to tracking jobs via their statuses, Namirasoft Job Arranger provides users with the flexibility to define reasons for the statuses. Understanding the reasons behind your decisions helps you refine your job search strategy and make more informed decisions moving forward.
Status Reasons Include
- Default Reasons: Namirasoft Job Arranger comes with a set of predefined reasons for why a job might be whitelisted, blacklisted, or moved to another status. For example: skills, location, and salary can be chosen for both whitelisted and blacklisted jobs.
- Custom Reasons: You also have the ability to create your own custom reasons that fit your unique situation. For example, you might add reasons such as: relocation required for blacklisted jobs or good reviews for whitelisted jobs.
How It Works
- Choose a reason, which is assigned to a status, from the predefined list of options.
- Input your custom reason, if your reason isn’t covered by the predefined options, and assign it to a status in the Reason page of the console website.
- Change a job’s status reason when changing its status (e.g.: change the status reason from location to salary while change the reason from whitelist to blacklist).

Yes, if you change your mind about why a job was added to the Whitelist or Blacklist, you can edit the reason at any time through the Job Arranger Chrome extension.
Can I change the status reason after applying for the job?
Yes, if your situation changes, you can edit the status reason even after applying. This helps ensure your reasons stay accurate and relevant to your current preferences.
Can I add my own reasons for adding a job?
Yes, beside the default reasons provided, Namirasoft Job Arranger allows you to create custom reasons and assign them to statuses, and choose them when adding the job to your list.
How do I remove a custom reason if I no longer need it?
You can delete custom reasons through the Job Arranger console. Once removed, it will no longer appear in your options when assigning statuses to jobs.
