Reason Console Guide

This page is your complete guide to the Reason entity in the Job Arranger Console. It explains what Reasons are and walks through every field you work with to create and manage them, so you can categorize your jobs with clarity and consistency.

What Is a Reason?

A Reason is a short label that explains why a particular status was assigned to a job. Namirasoft Job Arranger comes with a set of ready to use Reasons, and you can also create your own to match your job search preferences and the way you make decisions.

You choose a Reason when you add or update a job’s status, and it is saved with the job to add context and keep your tracking consistent across every entry.

The Challenge in Job Classification

Statuses help you organize opportunities and follow your progress, but a status on its own rarely tells the full story behind a decision.

Several jobs can share the same status yet be classified for completely different reasons. With that extra context in place, you can always see why a job was prioritized, set aside, or grouped a certain way.

How Reasons Solve the Problem

Reasons capture the thinking behind each status. Alongside the outcome, you record the factor that shaped your decision.

This lets you tell apart jobs that share the same status and classify them more precisely. When you reuse the same set of Reasons across opportunities, your evaluation stays consistent from one job to the next.

Overview of Reason Fields and Options

Below is a clear explanation of every field and option you work with when you create or manage a Reason in the console.

  • User ID (String): This identifier belongs to the user who owns the Reason, and it links each Reason to your Namirasoft Account so your Reasons stay private to your own account.

  • Workspace ID (String): Every Reason is tied to a Namirasoft Workspace through this value, which keeps each search or project organized with its own set of Reasons under a single workspace.

  • ID (String): Namirasoft Job Arranger assigns this unique identifier to a Reason the moment it is created, and the system relies on it to reference and manage that Reason across the platform.

  • Name (String): This is the label you give the Reason, and it describes the factor or preference behind a status so it reads clearly whenever you select a Reason while adding or updating a job.

  • Status (Enum): This is the job status the Reason applies to, and it sets which status category the Reason belongs to so your Reasons stay organized consistently within your job tracking.

  • Created At (DateTime): This is the exact date and time a Reason was first created in the system, set automatically and kept the same afterward.

  • Updated At (DateTime): This is the most recent date and time a Reason was modified, and it refreshes automatically whenever you change any of its fields.
